Sara has a Bachelors degree from the University of Utah in Communication before obtaining her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University.
Sara resent experience includes working with individuals who have suffered a brain injury or post-concussion syndrome. She has a deep understanding of chronic illness, emotion regulation and identity reconstruction. She has also worked as a mentor for teenagers and young adults who are struggling to "launch" which includes issues with motivation, cutting, socialization, addictions, goal setting and eating disorders. Sara spent 20 years working as a fitness trainer and has seen how the mind and the body are closely linked to each other. Her own experiences in life have opened up empathy and understanding for issues like faith struggles, infertility, marital struggles, and grief. Listening to others and creating an environment where people feel safe and heard is her top priority.
