About
Candise is working on her Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree and is in residency at Riverwoods Behavioral Health. She has worked with children and adolescents struggling with a mixture of problems in a variety of settings from residential treatment centers to school-based programs. She also works with adultsand her specialties include anxiety, phobias, depression, OCD, ADHD, social skills, spirituality, and addiction issues. She believes that it is often useful to work with the adolescent and their family using several techniques based on the individual needs and treatment goals of the client including person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, client centered play therapy and relapse prevention. Candise is excited to be working here at Riverwoods.
