Thomas Marz


“I am extremely passionate about helping individuals become their own healer. I use a comprehensive approach to therapy focusing on the importance of biological, psychological, and social factors. You will learn a complete and whole perspective of what creates great mental health. I use an integrative Cognitive-Behavioral approach, teaching you evidenced-based, powerful skills to change your brain. I have a deep understanding of neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to change and grow, which guides me in helping you make permanent changes in your life. My goal is to not only help you feel better but get better. I am so excited to teach you these amazing tools and skills so you can become your own healer!”


Thomas has wanted to become an LCSW ever since he was a kid. He had interactions with a social worker at a young age, who inspired him to dedicate his life to this career. He has been in the mental health field for over 7 years and is loving it. Thomas is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an expertise in clinical mental health. Thomas attended Brigham Young University - Hawaii where he obtained his Bachelor of Social Work. He received his master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky with a certificate in Clinical Social Work Practice. Thomas is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy (trauma-informed CBT). He specializes in anxiety, OCD, depression, ADHD, pornography addiction, trauma, and self-esteem. He is also fluent in Spanish! Thomas habla Español tambien!


Besides Thomas’ passion for mental health, he loves outdoor activities such as skiing, fly fishing, hiking, backpacking, and camping. Thomas can teach you powerful ways to use the outdoors to facilitate your mental health treatment. He also loves spending time with his wife and family. He has a wife and a child on the way and can’t wait to become a father. Thomas is passionate about humanitarian work and has been on multiple trips to Haiti and Bolivia which also inspired him to become a therapist.
